sofi games privacy policy

last updated 19 october 2026

sofi games is an app for Root with party games, anime cards and casino games. This page explains what it keeps about you, why, and how to have it removed.

The short version: sofi keeps your Root member ID with your game progress, so your cards, chips and wins are still there next time. It doesn't keep messages, your email or your real name, and it never sells or shares anything.

What sofi stores

Everything is kept separately for each community sofi is installed in, linked to your Root member ID:

What sofi doesn't store

Where it lives

sofi runs on Root's servers, and its data is kept in the storage Root provides for each app. If something goes wrong, error details can show up in the developer log Root keeps for the app; those can include member IDs.

Other services

Character pictures in anime cards are loaded from AniList. Your device fetches them straight from AniList, so AniList sees your device's IP address, the same as when you visit any website. sofi doesn't send AniList anything about you.

sofi chips have no real value

Chips are play money. They can't be bought, sold, traded for anything or cashed out, and no real money is involved anywhere in sofi.

Removing your data

To see what sofi has about you, or to have it deleted, email ilo@iloily.com and say which community you play in. When a community removes sofi, its game data is no longer used.
